Day 5 - I Workout

So I walked into the gym tonight like I usually do and as I scan my card... it beeps this very random beep and the man told me that I didn't have a membership anymore.  He said that somebody terminated my gym membership back in May.  Very weird because I definitely did not do that and I've been coming to the gym several times between May-January.  Looks like I've earned myself 7 months of free gym memberships!  Now I've got to pay.

Day 4 - DIY Coasters

I really hope this doesn't spoil any surprises, but I'm going to be making custom coasters with beer labels!  I really hope they turn out good.  Here's the first label I peeled.  Waiting on it to dry.  Also waiting on several more.  If anyone has cool labels, mail them to me!

Day 3 - Burn Victim

As Snowpocalypse 2014 continues, several people decided to post this really cool science experiment of boiling water and tossing it off their balconies only to see a big cloud of mist disappear.  I thought this was pretty cool and I wanted to try it out for myself.  And I did.  And it resulted in painful injury.  

Day 2 - Winter Wonderland

I told you the Snowpocalypse was coming.  If you have to drive anywhere today, don't!!  But if you really need to, be safe!

Day 1 - Snowpocalypse

People will often say that their whole life flashed before their eyes after they experienced a traumatic event.  Perhaps it's a bit morbid, but I think that sounds pretty incredible.  This project will help me open my eyes to understand what is most important to me in my life.  Imagine being able to look back at any day of your year and recall what you did, who you met, what you learned.... (Often we find it hard to remember what we did just yesterday or even last night, let alone a whole year ago!)  My year-long photo album will be an amazing way to document my travels and accomplishments, my haircuts and relationships.  Ferris Bueller is right when he said, "Life moves pretty fast.  If you don't stop and look around once in awhile, you could miss it."

Yes, about 3 years ago I started the same blog.  I made it to day 92 and gave up.  I'm not going to quit this year (at least, I hope I won't!).  Looking back at all the pictures I posted brought up so many great moments and memories I will never forget.  I'm hoping this time around will be just the same.
